Significant Changes to 2019 E/M Rules Have Been Proposed

  • Less required documentation
  • One payment for levels 2-5
  • Projected to be budget neutral
  • Time with patient, a clearer definition (hint: we have been teaching it correctly)
  • New G code for certain urological E/M services

Final Rule to be Released in November

Once the final rule has been published, PRS will review, interpret and be ready to teach you, what you need to know. Additionally, we will identify the scenarios, hints, shortcuts and cheatsheets for you to practice and use.
